What is the Relationships & Family Development?

Relationships & Family Development is a safe space (place) for you to be heard.

Relationships & Family Development is a BYUH department with an information and referral network for students, staff, and faculty. We address students' issues in a positive, proactive way. As a Student Life department, we collaborate with other departments, offices, as well as the community to best serve all students at BYUH. Our services, events, and educational programs have been developed to help meet students’ needs and enhance their college experience.

Our Mission

The mission of the Relationships and Family Development is to help students prepare for Celestial families by strengthening their capacity to form and sustain healthy relationships grounded in gospel principles.

What do we do?

The office supports students as they navigate hale living, dating, marriage, family responsibilities, and other relationships, promoting growth, self-reliance, and covenant-centered living.
