It is common for students to struggle with managing their money, given the many different competing priorities and needs they have. Those interested in learning new tools and approaches to not only better manage our finances, but actually begin saving for future needs, are invited to participate in the first of a three-part workshop series to learn how to take control of their financial lives, using Gospel-centered principles. Participants will come out of these workshops with a plan to manage their finances for 'now, soon, and long term'.
This first workshop will focus on Money Management: The First Two Rules of Managing Money. It will be taught by Elder Ronald Blood, who has worked as a financial manager and investment portfolio manager for major financial companies, and currently serves as a full-time missionary in Academic Commons as well as teaching Student Development 101.
